Playing college football has been a goal of mine since I started playing in youth football at the age of 5. Athletics and the game of football has always been a big part of my family growing up. My father played college football and has been a high school football and basketball coach for many years, while also being a high school teacher. My sister currently plays basketball at the college level, so education and athletics have always been very important in our family. My parents have always pushed me to be the best person, student and athlete I can be. They have taught me that being successful takes humility, hard work, discipline, commitment, and being willing to learn. My family has set a high standard for me, but I also have a high an even high standard for myself. I expect a lot from myself and always want to improve and get better in all areas of my life, I believe in the saying "Your either getting better or worse, you never stay the same." I love the competition, brotherhood, and challenges the game of football brings. I want to play at the college level because I want to see how far I can take the game while continuing to grow as a student athlete. I want to carry on the standard established in my family while also creating my own path. I want college coaches to know that I am a team-first player who is competitive, loyal, dependable, coachable, and committed both on and off the field. I am willing to work hard, take coaching, and do whatever I can to help my team be successful. I also want to continue growing spiritually, academically, and athletically to become the best version of myself that I can be.
